Terms and Conditions – Arctic Knits AS

1. Parties
These terms apply to the purchase of products from Arctic Knits AS (the seller) by private individuals (the buyer).

2. Products
We sell both:

  • Digital products: Knitting patterns and digital files delivered via download link or email.

  • Physical products: Yarn and accessories delivered by mail or collected by arrangement.

All prices are listed in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated.

3. Payment
Payment can be made via Stripe, PayPal, or Vipps. The amount is charged to your account when the order is completed. All payments are securely handled by our payment providers. Arctic Knits AS does not store card information.

4. Delivery

  • Digital products: Delivered automatically via email or download link immediately after payment. In some cases, delivery may take up to 24 hours due to technical delays.

  • Physical products: We usually pack and ship items within 1–3 business days. The estimated delivery time after dispatch is normally 2–7 business days within Norway, depending on the chosen shipping method. Delays beyond our control (carrier, weather conditions, etc.) may occur.

5. Right of Withdrawal

  • Digital products: The right of withdrawal does not apply once the download has started, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act §22 letter n. By purchasing digital files, you agree that the right of withdrawal lapses once the download begins.

  • Physical products: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the time you receive the item. To use the right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing (email) within the deadline. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging. The buyer pays return shipping. The amount will be refunded within 14 days after we have received the item.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Digital products are only refunded if the file is defective or significantly deviates from the description. Notify us within 24 hours after purchase for assessment of refund.

  • Physical products can be returned within the withdrawal period or in case of a complaint (see point 7). In case of error or defect, we cover the return shipping and send a replacement item or provide a refund.

Refunds are normally processed within 3–5 business days and returned to the original payment method.

7. Defects and Complaints
If a product has a defect or deficiency, you may file a complaint in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.

  • Complaint deadline: 2 years from the date you received the item.

  • Send an email to contact@arcticknits.com with your order number, description of the issue, and any pictures.

We offer repair, replacement, or refund, depending on what is appropriate.


8. Disclaimer of Liability

Arctic Knits AS is not responsible for:

  • Delays or errors caused by third-party payment solutions or carriers.

  • Damages or issues arising from misuse, errors in the customer’s equipment (for digital files), or external factors beyond our control.

9. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, we ask you to contact us first to find an amicable solution. If we cannot agree, you as a consumer can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (www.forbrukerradet.no) or bring the case to the Consumer Disputes Commission. Disputes shall be settled under Norwegian law.

10. Changes to Terms
Arctic Knits AS reserves the right to amend these terms when necessary. An updated version will always be available on the website.
