Mini Mittens

Christmas tree ornament, gift decoration, keychain

  1. Leftover yarn, two colors, and needles size 3 or 3.5
  2. Cast on 24 stitches (It's good to have a long thread at the cast-on end, to be used in the braid).
  3. Knit 1 knit/1 purl for 8 rounds
  4. Knit one round knit and increase to 26 stitches.
  5. Follow the pattern in the diagram.
  6. Decrease as shown in the diagram (Decreases on the right side: Slip one stitch, knit the next one, and pass the slipped stitch over. Decreases on the left side: Knit two stitches together).
  7. Weave in ends
  8. Sew in a long thread next to the long cast-on thread, so you have three threads for braiding.
  9. Tie and cut to make a "mini tassel" at the end.
  10. Attach to a keychain or hang on the Christmas tree/gift.

Good luck with the knitting!

Best Regards from Henny 😊 Arctic Knits

We also think this felted christmas stocking is a great addition for the holiday time 🎄
